How to plan a podcast?

The topic I have chosen for my podcast is,"Discuss social media, describing how you can use thes digital media tools to advance their careers and or reputation. I am going to make sure and write my script using the conversational style. You want to make sure and choose a topic that you know and are familiar with.You want to do propper research, so that you know what you are talking about! It is important for your reputation, that your podcast is well made. You may even want to create an outline of what will be talked about to help you keep the conversation flowing smoothly and naturally. The demographics I choose for this topic would be peoples who may be in the field of communications or anyone who is dealing in some form of social media and those who are in school now preparing for their future in communications. I want to target an older audience; those who may already have experience in social media or maybe studying it now. So this group would consist of ages 25 to 45; male and female; all over the country in all states. I would just want to target the states because I don't want to be too broad in the beginning but maybe later expand further out to other countries. I want to focus on people who have experience in social media now or those in school who are preparing for it. This podcast will help those wanting to learn about social media, and how it will advance their careers and reputation and why to use social media tools and how they work.
When writing my script for my podcast, I found myself looking all over the internet, for the best information I could find on the subject. The most difficult thing for me with the podcast, would have been reading my script casually.
